Refund Policy

This policy applies to purchases of SpeakType made through our official website and checkout provider (including Lemon Squeezy checkout for SpeakType products).

2. 14-Day Full Refund Guarantee

You may request a full refund within 14 calendar days from the original purchase date for any reason.

• The request must be sent from the purchase email or include enough order details for verification.
• After 14 calendar days, purchases are generally non-refundable except where required by law.

3. How to Request a Refund

Email support@speaktype.ai with:

• Order ID (if available)
• Purchase email address
• Purchase date
• Reason for refund (optional, helps us improve)

We typically respond within 1-2 business days.

4. Processing Time

Once approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method. Payment providers and banks may take additional time to post the refund, typically 5-10 business days.

5. Subscription and Renewal Charges

• You can cancel future renewals at any time from your billing portal or by contacting support.
• Cancellation stops future charges and does not automatically refund past charges.
• Renewal charges are eligible for refund only if requested within 14 calendar days from that renewal date.

6. Non-Refundable Cases

We may deny refund requests in cases such as fraud, abuse, or policy manipulation (for example, repeated refund requests after extensive use). This does not limit your statutory rights where applicable.

7. Chargebacks

If you experience billing issues, contact us first so we can resolve the matter quickly. Unnecessary chargebacks may result in account suspension while the case is under review.
